Man charged with multiple offenses after violent crash

The Bristol Tennessee Police Department charged a driver with aggravated assault and driving under the influence following a Nov. 7 accident in which two people were injured, reportedly. Authorities said that the 10:30 p.m. crash took place at the Bristol intersection of State Route 26 and State Street.

Man dies from his injuries in Tennessee car crash

A 50-year-old man who was involved in a car accident on Aug. 29 succumbed to his injuries the next morning. The accident reportedly took place around 9:30 p.m. at an intersection. According to police, a car being driven by a 19-year-old woman was headed north and attempting to go through the intersection.

Tennessee suspected DUI accident injures 2

Local authorities report that a three-vehicle accident that occurred in Knoxville around 7 p.m. on Aug. 25 left two people with various injuries. An ambulance transported both injured parties to UT Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. No other injuries were reported.

Not guilty plea entered in case connected to fatal accident

On August 19, a 33-year-old woman entered her plea in a Rutherford County, Tennessee, court on charges related to a fatal hit-and-run accident. The victim was changing a flat tire on his mother's car at the side of Interstate 24 when he was struck. Some of the charges against the female driver include vehicular homicide by intoxication, reckless assault and leaving the scene of a fatal crash.

Injured driver in Tennessee accident dies

A 22-year-old man died on May 12 from injuries that he suffered in a recent head-on collision, according to authorities. The incident occurred on May 6 at approximately 8:50 p.m. in Mt. Juliet near the Little League fields. The man reportedly lost control of his Chevrolet pickup as he drove eastbound on the road. He struck a westbound Ford Explorer head-on, and the Ford was then rear-ended by a Mazda M3.

Tennessee man killed after fatal collision with cement mixer

Tennessee drivers may be interested in the story of a man who was killed when he pulled in front of a much larger vehicle. According to police at the time of the report, no charges were being filed in the incident.
