Several injured victims were taken to the hospital after a four-vehicle crash along westbound I-40 in Knoxville occurred during the early morning of Oct. 31. The accident started shortly before 5:15 a.m. with a rear-end collision that left one vehicle stranded in the middle of the road. Luckily, occupants of the car were able to flee before an approaching semi-truck collided with their vehicle.
Seven people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash at Brick Church Pike and Ewing Drive in Nashville on Aug. 22 caused by an alleged drug suspect fleeing a drug bust. The officers allegedly seized 20 kilograms of cocaine from a storage facility located near Brick Church Pike Road. Authorities estimate the cocaine's worth at $700,000.
Tennessee commuters found themselves in a seven-car pileup after two drivers stopped their cars in a travel lane of Interstate 24 to fling road rage venom at each other. The aftermath of the car accident shut down the traffic corridor throughout the morning rush hour. Police charged the two men with a variety of offenses that they said caused the chain reaction accident.
